Justice work is like walking up a down escalator. If you stand still, you’re going backward. You always have to keep moving forward, keep working.

Tim Baran heard this once and it captures how he feels about the tireless work being done by practitioners, technologists, advocates, academics, researchers, and policymakers to increase access to justice and fight poverty and inequality.

Tim serves as the Technology Innovation Program Manager at Pro Bono Net, working closely with legal services and community-based organizations to build and manage initiatives that leverage technology and innovation to scale justice. Earlier in his career, he was the Chief Marketing Officer at Good2bSocial and a writer for Lawyerist.
